Registration Open Throughout the Racing Season
The Club Team is for riders who want to participate locally in Stony Plain BMX race nights and practice days. Club Team members will receive the same level of coaching as the Race Team and they are still welcome to participate in Provincial Series Events and other Alberta BMX club races. Club Team members must have an Alberta Bicycle Association license.
Club Team practices take place on Wednesday evenings. Races are Monday and Thursday evenings.
Remember, you can race as much or as little as you like. One of the great things about BMX is that you are in control of your schedule!
2018 Club Team registration fees are $100 (plus your mandatory $85 Alberta Bicycle Association license). Registration includes a jersey.
Registration Deadline May 1, 2018
The Race Team is for riders who are willing to commit to participating in at least 4 provincial series events (2 weekends) and compete in the Alberta BMX Grand Championships in Okotoks in September. Race Team members also participate in the majority of the Local Club Races and are often seen at other tracks throughout the week.
Race Team practices take place on Tuesday evenings. Race Team members are also invited to practice with the rest of the club on Wednesdays. Local races are Monday and Thursday evenings.
2018 Race Team registration fees are $150 (plus your mandatory $85 Alberta Bicycle Association license). Race Team registration includes an exclusive Race Team jersey, a full zip Stony Plain BMX hoodie and a Stony Plain BMX branded gear bag.
The Race Team is open to all, regardless of ability, interested in competing in Alberta-wide races. There is no qualification process.
Please see the calendar for a complete list of Alberta BMX Provincial Series races.
