Reminders!

*Attention parents we have been having some problems with rider names and numbers we are working on getting this straightened out ASAP. Please check the moto shed during racing. There will be a list where you can print the rider’s correct name, number, category, and sponsor if appropriate so we can fix our records. Thank you for your patience in regards to this matter.

*Just a reminder that Stony Plain BMX is holding a Western National Race on July 11 and 12, 2009.

*If you have not picked up your wooden plaque to put your stickies on please do so at the Moto Shed.

Upcoming Events

There will be a Work Bee at the track on Friday, June 5th from 6-9 and on Saturday, June 6 from 9-3. We need lots of help to get the track in shape so please mark it on your calendars.

Wednesday, May 27 there will be a Fun Relay as part of our regular scheduled practice for the kids to participate in. Make sure you don’t miss the fun!

Please note the deadline for pre-registrations for the St. Albert Provincial Races on June 27 and 28 will be June 22nd please see Kristen or Deb at the moto shed to arrange for pre-registration.

Fundraising

*We are looking for donations to our Western National Race raffle table if you have any items please contact Shelley Satermo.

*We are also looking for donations for our Silent Auction fundraiser which will be held on August 22nd at Michael’s Sports Bar please contact Kristen Kawa if you have items for the auction.

*Sell some cookie dough to raise money for the club. If you are interested in selling cookie dough please pick up a form at the Moto Shed. This is an easy way for the club to raise some money and you get delicious cookies in return.

*If you have sold your raffle tickets please turn booklets into Shelley Satermo.

*Keep an eye out for a catalogue fundraiser coming up in the near future as well.

Volunteering

We are looking for volunteers to work concession for the Western National. Please contact Tonya at the concession stand if you can help out. Thank you.

We also require volunteers for the raffle table during the Western National Race. Please see Shelley if you are interested in helping out with this.

Race Registration

There are three ways to register for a race and they are as follows:
1. Online the day of the race until 3:00pm.
2. At the Moto Shed from 5:30 until 6:15.
3. By phone from 5:30-6:15 at 780-977-4269.

Please make sure you are at the track no later then 6:30 to check the rider lists and let us know if there are any mistakes.

*Note
If you are planning on attending another track you must take your license with you. If you do not have your license with you please see Deb at the Moto Shed and she will give you a form to take with you stating that you have applied for your license.
