Supper at the track
Come out on August 13th, 2009 and enjoy a hot dog for a $1, chili dog for $1.50, bag of chips for .25 cents etc. Supper will start at 5 o’ clock.

*Just a reminder that Stony Plain BMX is holding a Western National Race on July 11 and 12, 2009.

Upcoming Events

The 2009 Camp Cools @ Stony Plain BMX Track will be held on June 19, 20, 21 Join us at the Stony Plain BMX Track & get the track dialed in with Ken Cools and his team of professional riders! This year, the camp will run Friday night as well as Saturday and Sunday. The camp will be split into 2 groups by Ken Cools; based on experience and ability. The cost of the camp is $110 per rider. Sign up for this awesome training camp at the moto shed. This camp is open to all riders/all ages/all skill levels and will be focused on getting every rider ready for the next level.! Ken Cools and his team will push each rider to their next ability and make sure that they have fun doing it! Lunch will be provided by Stony Plain BMX Association. * June 19th from 6 pm - 9 pm is open to Expert riders only * June 20th from 9 am - 2 pm is open to Beginner & Novice riders only * June 20th from 2pm - 6 pm is open to Intermediate & Expert riders only * June 21st from 9am - 3pm is open to ALL riders

June 24 practice fun event will be “Miss Stony Plain” you won’t want to miss it!!

Please note the deadline for pre-registrations for the St. Albert Provincial Races on June 27 and 28 will be June 22nd please see Kristen or Deb at the moto shed to arrange for pre-registration.

Fundraising

*We are looking for donations to our Western National Race raffle table if you have any items please contact Shelley Satermo.

*We are also looking for donations for our Silent Auction fundraiser which will be held on August 22nd at Michael’s Sports Bar please contact Kristen Kawa if you have items for the auction.

*Sell some cookie dough to raise money for the club. If you are interested in selling cookie dough please pick up a form at the Moto Shed. This is an easy way for the club to raise some money and you get June 29 with pick up on July 13.

*If you need raffle tickets or have sold your raffle tickets please contact Shelley Satermo.

*Keep an eye out for a catalogue fundraiser coming up in the near future as well.

Volunteering

*Volunteer duties are posted on the Moto board please take a look

*Just a reminder that Stony Plain BMX is holding a Western National Race We are looking for volunteers to work for the Western National on July 11 and 12, 2009. Please let us know at the moto shed if you can help out. Thank you.

Race Registration

There are three ways to register for a race and they are as follows: 1. Online the day of the race until 3:00pm. 2. At the Moto Shed from 5:30 until 6:15. 3. By phone from 5:30-6:15 at 780-977-4269.

Please make sure you are at the track no later then 6:30 to check the rider lists and let us know if there are any mistakes.

*Note If you are planning on attending another track you must take your license with you. If you do not have your license with you please see Deb at the Moto Shed and she will give you a form to take with you stating that you have applied for your license.
