Bring A Buddy Day

You've spent the last month riding the track, now it's time to share your love for this sport with your buddies!
Bring your friends out to try the track Wednesday night.  Concession will be rocking a $5 dinner deal, Tunes will be cranked and we'll all be there helping your friends experience our fun sport!

Please note all participants who are not members of our club will have to have their parent or guardian sign a waiver release.
Here's a checklist for your friends:
Bike - it does NOT have to be a BMX bike! They just need a bike they're comfortable on.
Bike Helmet
Gloves
Long Sleeves
Pants
Close-toed shoes

Poor Air Quality Policy

This week Alberta Bicycle issued new guidelines for all bike associations across the province.  If the air quality is 8 or higher we will not be able proceed with scheduled Stony Plain BMX events. As with poor weather days, when the air quality is in question we will make the call at 5pm.  We pull our data DIRECT from Environment Canada (not facebook or secondary media). For your reference this is the link (please note the air quality is monitored in Spruce Grove not Stony Plain): https://weather.gc.ca/airquality/pages/abaq-013_e.html

One of the great things about BMX racing is the freedom to make your racer’s schedule fit your lifestyle.  There are no mandatory race or practice days, and as such we wanted to remind you that even if we do move forward with a race on a poor air quality day it does not mean you need bring your racer.  You ALWAYS have the final say on your child’s attendance and if you feel they should not be racing, then they don’t have to race.
